Critique of Depth of Field Assignment

I really liked the picture I printed for shallow depth of field. I focused in on the sign and the woods in the background are blurry. You could really see the definition of the rusty chain wrapped around the top and it was just an overall neat picture. I love vintage or old, creepy looking pictures and this was definitely in that category. I would love to get a picture sometime in a flower field and just focus on one flower and have the rest all blurry. The picture of the view all the way down my road is very interesting. You could see all the way back and it had a good leading line. I would love to do this photo in the fall sometime with a color camera since the road is surrounded by trees.
